Wonderful hotel with attentive staff. Huge, nicely decorated room with a very comfy bed. - Lovely and incredible location, steps away from a 6th-century basilica church. - Found in a very pleasant area. - Great experience there.

It felt like stepping into a grand mansion from the 1800s, with its enchanting courtyard and cozy winter-garden. The decoration throughout the building was charming and added a sense of history to my stay. As a senior woman, I also appreciated that despite being in an old building, the hotel was easily accessible with no stairs or obstacles for me to navigate. It made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my visit.
The only improvement I would suggest is for the hotel to provide a map with driving directions to help guests find their way, especially for those traveling by car. I had some difficulty locating the hotel due to the restricted pedestrian streets in the area.

The triple room at Chez Papa was amazing! It had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, which was great for catching up on my favorite shows. The mini-bar was well-stocked, and having a tea and coffee maker in the room was such a convenience. The seating area was cozy and provided a nice spot to relax and enjoy the garden views. I felt right at home in this room.
Honestly, I can't think of anything negative about the room. It was perfect for me!

I absolutely adored the charming and quirky decoration of the hotel. The shelves filled with books gave it a literary feel, which I found delightful. The general areas were spacious, airy, and bright, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior. The hotel's central location was also a huge plus, as it allowed me to easily explore all the famous mosaics and historical sites in Ravenna without having to travel far. It made my stay all the more enjoyable and convenient.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have better driving directions and a map of the city provided by the hotel. As a senior traveler, it was not easy for me to find the hotel by car, especially with many streets being pedestrian only.

The triple room at Chez Papa was fantastic! The room had a cool air conditioner, and the flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained. The garden views were lovely, and I felt so cozy in the seating area. Plus, having a minibar and a tea/coffee maker was a great touch. As a disabled guest, I appreciated the accessibility of everything in the room, from the TV to the mini-bar. It made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The only thing that I personally didn't like was the bidet in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my opinion, as others might find it useful or enjoyable.

Fascinating mosaics depicting life overcoming death, beautiful beaches perfect for relaxation, impressive early Christian art, charming inner garden, and stunning natural environments. Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was simply perfect.
Oh, I just loved climbing 42 steps to my attic room with a bed so low it felt like a challenge to get up. And let's not forget the clogged shower drain and malfunctioning TV and safe.
